October Report
by Rev: Francis ~ November 29th, 2008. Filed under: Resource.1. October 9-11: Participated in a Golden Jubilee Celebration of students Ministry in Karnataka. There were about over 650 people from all over Karnataka had gathered for celebration. These people are from various denominations and pretty active in the ministry especially among college students. They conduct Bible study in their homes, College campuses and hostels. I had a chance to meet many families and individuals personally.
2. My participation with this gathering has opened up doors for me to visit various districts and towns and churches through them to talk about BTCP.
3. On 19th I was invited to preach and introduce BTCP training in a church by name ICRM (India Christian Revival Mission) at Mysore. It is a growing church and over 200 embers attended the church on 19th. ICRM is also running a Bible school in their church where 16 students are being trained for ministry.
4. Rev. Stephen Y. Banna preached in a CSI church, Naregal in Gadag district. He is also promoting Bible training in the state.
5. Visited Gadag to speak on Family Enrichment and also to meet a group of pastors and church leaders. Mr. Shathaveer Hulyal and his wife Mrs. Sundaramma celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They invited over 400 people for the thanksgiving gathering. This became a platform to address the community.
6. Preaching at Bellary Living water Church. After the service I met a group of active Christian leaders who are interested in Bible training.
7. Regular teaching at NLC for about 8 hours a week.
