 Terrorism has lifted its ugly head yet again but in a dreadful way in Mumbai!

lives have been lost and the people trapped might be going through emotional trauma and fear of death it self. We also read of Thailand where siege of airports have put thousand of people stranded in various places. Now state of emergency has been declared. We are still bombarded with financial predicament from world over. Job cuts, lay offs, pay diminution, price rise on commodities.  Persecutions, threats of communal disturbances. All these are unpleasant and freighting to hear and to know.

Can we as believers in Christ become conscious that we are in last days as Christ has said and we need not get perturbed yet we need to be concerned and pray for our country and the world at large. We are citizens of peace, shall we sincerely pray with all sincerity for the following:

• Wisdom to State and Central Government leaders to experience wisdom God from above to deal with the situation in Mumbai.

• For the Military, Para Military and State police who are key to fish out the terrorist and as well to protect the civilians. Let us pray for their protection, and their families to get over their anxiety and be comforted by God’s peace and for them to trust in God.  

• Let us continue to be conscious in praying for our country and for its protection for we are called to pray for our leaders. Pray for the world peace which can be achieved only through people repenting from sins and churches to have revival. True revival will happen if we as Christians live the life transformed.
