Training New Believers for the Ministry in the Rural Karnataka

by Rev: Francis ~ April 9th, 2007. Filed under: News.

I had a great time in the town called ‘Davanagere’ ministering to 7 Hindu converts who are committed to serve the Lord in various villages. It was from april 2nd to 6th. Most of their family members have not yet come to the Lord, but these young boys and girls quite committed to for the work of the Lord. I am privileged to minister such young and committed youths.

On Good Friday I attended to a church in Davanagere town itself. There were about 50 people attended the service. For my surprise all of them are from Hindu background. It appears that some one year ago, some two years ago and still some recently. However they all have come to the Lord in five years ago only. The church itself is just three years old only. It was an amazing time of ministry with such enthusiastic community I had. My heart is for such people. I want to encourage, build and strengthen such new Believers to grow strong in the Lord particularly in the state of Karnataka which is least evangelized and not concentrated much by mission agencies. As you read this report, I welcome you to pray and partner with us and do whatever you can for the growth of the Kingdom of God in this part of the world.
