Family Christmas 2010
by Rev: Francis ~ December 6th, 2010. Filed under: News.We praise God for the Family Christmas that we could host at our residence this year as well on the 4th December 2010. We had 26 families and five unmarried individuals who are in the verge of getting married. Families and their children and other relatives and so on, we had over all 75 individuals in the Family Christmas program. We had lots of fun, laughter, learning, intercessory prayer, games, message, testimonies of God’s faithfulness and so on. Smitha shared about counting your blessings in the family life cycle. She said, even though we count the difficulties and pains we have gone through the family life, but when we think of God’s blessings we can’t count them at all. Her testimony was an encouraging the families who are going through various challenges. Santosh led the worship; he is a businessman who loves the Lord. He led us in a meaningful time of praise and worship. Binu conducted games for the families. People had a good laughter and fun during the games. Children happily participated in the game. We also had gift exchange session where each one had brought a gift to give to their secret friend. As they exchanged the gift they also spent time in praying for each other. It was a refreshing moment where families sharing with other families. Madana kumar who works for IBM preached a message on family. We had arranged for dinner, at the end of the program. We had Mutton Biriyani. We had ordered for 50 people, but we had 75 people for the dinner. God did a miracle, that every one could eat, and still some food was left over. Dr. Jay Raines and Pastor Albert Davis prayed for the families during the program.
We want to thank you for your prayers and encouragement. Please continue to uphold us as we serve families to share the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
