Pastoral Care Ministries

Dear partners in Pastoral Care Ministries,
I have few prayers requests, and would appreciate your prayer support:
Firstly, during every summer I conduct a Summer School of Missions for Kannada speaking young men and women. We prayerfully select 20 candidates for this school from various churches across the state. It is an intensive mission training. The purpose of this school is to train young people to consider mission Karnataka and also to tell the history of Christianity in the Karnataka. This school will start from May 10 to 30th.
Secondly, we also train pastors and evangelists who are already in the ministry in Karnataka, without having any formal theological training. We are expecting about 50 pastors for this a week long training. This training will start on May 10th and will conclude on 18th May.
Thirdly, On April 18-21st we have 40 pastors’ family seminar in Hydarabad. These pastors are working in Karnataka, but the seminar would be held at Hydarabad. Hence, please pray for these 40 families. Bro. Shankar Babu and myself would be ministering in this seminar.
Fourthly, I am translating a Old Testament commentary in Kannada. I hope to complete this project by end of this month or beginning of next month. There is no Commentary in Kannada thus far. I believe this would be a great help for the pastors and committed believers in Karnataka.
Finally, I covet your prayer support for my Ph.D research. I am in the mid sea now. I need lots of God’s grace and support. I appreciate if you can uphold me in your prayers. There is no one in India who has done Ph.D in area of family directly. I believe this research would surely help Karnataka churches first and the nation at large.
